Royal Enfield is planning to expand its lineup with the much-awaited 250cc motorcycle. This bike is expected to be more affordable compared to the Classic 350, targeting young riders and city commuters who want Royal Enfield’s style with a lighter engine and better mileage.
Design
The Royal Enfield 250cc will carry the company’s classic retro styling, round headlamps, teardrop fuel tank, and chrome finish. The bike will be lighter in weight compared to the 350cc models, making it easy to handle for daily use.
Engine
The bike is expected to come with a 249cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing around 20–22 bhp power and 18–20 Nm torque. It will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox, designed for smooth city rides as well as short highway trips.
Mileage
The expected mileage of the Royal Enfield 250cc will be around 35–40 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient motorcycles in the RE lineup.
